I am a student at the University of Minnesota studying Technical Communication and Human Computer Interaction. I will be graduating in May of 2020. The classes that I have found the most fulfilling include Rhetorical Theory, User Experience in Design, and Writing Arguments. In all of these classes I learned about the strategy behind user-facing content.
I am looking for a career where I am creating content, restructuring content, or designing content with the intent of leaving an impact on users. To that end, I am looking for roles in User Experience Design & Research, Content Strategy, Marketing & Advertising, Web Design, Search Engine Optimization, and other roles that put me on a career path where I am creating and thinking critically about user-facing content.
My hobbies include:My communication style is: Inquisitive and Collaborative I have a strong desire to understand how things work, what motivates people, and how I can improve, both professionally and personally. Although I think emails and instant messaging systems have a lot of wonderful applications, I have a strong preference for talking to my colleagues face to face.
